The lightweight Descente Men's Prologue Bike Short is ideal for summer riding. The nylon-spandex blend and panel construction provide stretch and an excellent fit. The Prologue Shorts' Phantom Chamois reduces pressure points and chafing, and you'll hardly notice it's there (hence the ethereal name …). The eight-millimeter open-cell, perforated foam chamois has tiers for protection without pressure. Descente treated the chamois with an antimicrobial so as to combat malodorous smells. Silicone gripper on the shorts' hemlines hold them in place as you pedal.
Bottom Line: Be comfy on the saddle when you wear your Descente Prologue Bike Shorts during summer rides.

I have always liked Descente ski clothing, so thought I would give cycling clothing a try. Shorts are a good fit and padded nicely. Did a 80 mile ride on them and was very pleased. Got a little chafing, but shorts are still getting broken in.

Yes - the shorts are cut shorter and the chamois is a totally different design. When possible, always buy the women's chamois if you're a woman.

I love Descente whether it's biking or skiing. The "Chamy" in these shorts is great and does a good job of padding all the right places without coming up short.
