Descente Nova Mountain Bike Short - Women's - 2007 BCS

I've spent a lot of time (and money) in my search for a baggy mtb short and I have finally found it! I do agree with the other reviews, that if you have any kind of hips, these probably won't fit very well...but, I don't have curvy hips. Unfortunately, I am kind of built like a boy but that's ok 'cause now I have some shorts that actually fit great, look great, are super comfy and are very well made. I bought the small and am 5'3", 110 lbs. If I had known these would be so freakin' awesome, I would have bought three. Got them for a song as well...will have to hope they come around again soon so I can get a couple more!

I had the opposite experience. The liner fit and felt awesome, but the shell felt like it was a size too small. REALLY tight around the hips...like it was designed for a 10 year old boy. Not sure even a 14 year old girl just entering puberty would fit in that shell...

Nice that the shell detaches from the liner, however.

I think these are in the wrong category. If you have not hit puberty yet, they might fit you.

I had the opposite experience than glerch2285074 had. The inner liner fit and felt great. The shell...well, I'm not sure how they fit the liner in the shell in the first place. Way too small.

I typically wear size 6-8 pants and got a medium. However, the medium was still a bit too small. Inner liner fit pretty nicely and the padding is awesome. But, once I got the outer shell on, it looked like I was wearing my grandma's shorts! Waistband was at least 2 inches above my belly button, it was grossing me out. Even if they had a bigger size, I would not get these because of the uber high rise issue.

Yes, I had the same problem with the fit being small, I returned the med. I ordered and got the large. No problems. Padding is great, love how the liner is detachable and breathable material - It gets hot here in AZ! Overall I liked it.

Outer shell was fine. Couldn't get the liner up over my knees.
