Serious impact protection.
Equipped with the next-level impact protection of D30 flexible armor along the knee and shin, the Demon Snow Hyper Knee/Shin X D30 Protection V2 acts as a flexible suit of armor when you're picking apart technical singletrack on your mountain bike or getting sendy on your snowboard. D30 is a fully flexible padding material that hardens upon impact, absorbing nasty falls and knee-buckling collisions. The pad is finished with perforated neoprene along the exterior for enhanced ventilation, a Kevlar front shield for abrasion-resistance, and a 4-millimeter foam layer that rests comfortably on your knee for hours of continuous comfort.

- Q & A
I am 5'11 170 and ordered the mediums, they seemed a little snug the first day but after some intense park and backcountry riding they broke in. 10 days later they feel like I am wearing nothing.
I took a good spill and inadvertently landed on my knees, I felt nothing.
A must have!
Very Good Pads
These shin gards arrived they fit pretty small even though i measured my leg correctly, so i had to exchange them for a bigger size. The customer service was excellent and they emailed me the tag to put on the box for returning it back to them. It did not take long at all for the new ones to be delivered and they paid for the shipping too. I was expecting it to take a lot longer for the new ones to arrive, but it only took a couple days. These shin guards are part steap on but you still have to slide them on your leg to which is kind of a hassle but it really doesnt take away from how good these pads are. They are alittle bit bulky under your snowboard pants but the shin guards are not noticeable. The extra padding on the side of your leg is very helpful and these guards definitely saved me from a lot of bad shinners and the shin pad only covers half of your shin so it fits very well with my snowboard boots
Comfortable moderate protection.
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
For mid strength protection, these are great. I also use POC VPD 2.0 knee, shin and elbow pads, which are also quite good. These are a little more comfortable. The only drawback is that the shin pads only extend about 1/2 way down my leg (I am 6' 3"). They breath well, and I believe that in anything but a high speed downhill fall, they would do the job.
