Think of the Demon Snow Shield Vest as a low-profile insurance policy that not only protects your spine and torso but doesn't cost an arm and a leg. When park rails and icy trannies dump hate on your game, you’ll be glad you have this breathable vest’s thermoformed chest and rib coverage. This vest's polycarbonate spine guard has your back in the literal sense when hidden rocks try to jack you after a cliff huck in backcountry.

Bottom Line: Cheaper than hospital bills.

GREAT VEST FOR THE PRICE

By:

Had this vest about two winters, really love it. The construction is durable and light weight. It breaths really well, but just in case I would suggest wearing a moisture wicking layer underneath. It helps keep you dry and stops the vest from rubbing on your skin(armpits). Fits really well under any jacket that I have. You could even use it in the summer if you wanted for mt. biking, etc. I wear a large shirt, and would reccomend ordering the same size in the vest that you wear regularly for a shirt. Demon snow is a great company out of Salt Lake City, and produces quality products that are reasonabaly priced. I also have a shovel from those guys and love it. Overall the vest is a good purchase.

great for the price

I really had to get used to it riding up on my chest, but that just how it is made. forget POC unless you want to pay double what you would pay for the demon shield vest. I've fallen a few times and have been hit in the chest by branches and this works wonders. no more bruises. Also it most definitely makes you ski with a bit more confidence. I am 5 10 150 and i got the med.

Great Product

Fit is good and is true for the most part for men's. Fit snug but not too tight for a men's large. Straps ensured the stayed secure and in place. Padding feels good and the back protector is a life saver; and cool looking at that. I wear it as just replacing another layer as it isn't bulky at all. Would definitely recommend.

careful on size

By:

i bought 2 of these for my daughters, in small and medium, since the sizing chart indicated those to be the correct sizes to get. wrong. they run pretty big, so the older daughter is wearing the small, and the younger one is wearing last years, and the medium vest is sitting in the closet waiting for somebody to get bigger. overall the design is ok, but i think they should have included some velcro straps on the sides below the armpits, or lower, in order to cinch it in a bit at that level - without that, and with the front protector part (which i did not realize they had attached), the front rides up and is kind of uncomfortable.

This vest is great protection for hucking off cliffs in the back country. It protects your spine as well as your chest witch is a bonus.
