Attention grabber.

DeFeet takes inspiration from optical illusion with its High Ball 4in socks, adding eye-catching graphics to the platform of its long-lasting Aireator style. Made with a synthetic blend that includes DeFeet's recycled CoolMax EcoMade fibers in a vented mesh weave, the socks are designed to pull moisture away from your feet quickly as you ride. The four-inch StayFast cuff strives to eliminate the frustration of socks slipping slowly down your calves over time, while the plated heel and toe areas promise to resist wear over mile and miles of riding.

Style is There, Fit...Not as Much

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: L

I definitely bought these for the flair the provide, and they do a great job at that. I'm definitely riding in style when I'm out for a bike ride in these.
For athletic socks, I'm used to wearing FITS and CEP, which are at the top of the game in fit, comfort, and performance. Defeet leave a little to be desired in the fit department. Definitely a high volume sock that does not provide a nice, snug fit. It's not loose enough to get bunchy, but they do slide around on your feet a bit. The length of the socks is appropriate, it's just a volume issue.
