Slays on streets, peaks, and everything in between.

Dan Brisse's snowboarding is a force of nature, unstoppable whether he's gapping off roofs in the city or lining up booters in the backcountry. He relies on his signature Deeluxe Men's Brisse Snowboard Boot to deliver the support and cushioning he needs whether he's sliding metal or slashing powder.

Since he needs a different flex for hitting rails than for riding spines, he equipped his boot with removable TPS Shield tongue stiffeners. Run the hard insert for the stiffest flex, the medium one for a slightly more forgiving feel, or go without for the softest flex. C3 lacing allows you to independently adjust the tightness of the heel, forefoot, and shaft areas of the boot so you can customize the fit to suit your riding. The DuPont Surlyn backstay stiffens the boot for reliable support and response that will last over time.

The Thermo Flex Premium liner is heat-moldable to allow you to get the perfect fit for your foot, and the E-Lacing system help you crank down the tightness to prevent heel lift. An EVA midsole absorbs shock from harsh landings and reduces vibrations for a smoother ride, and the low-profile D-Lug outsole has a skate shoe-inspired design for enhanced board feel.

Ankle Pain

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These were the easiest boots to put on & take off. However, they have an awkward "bump" near the ankles which caused soooooo much pain and swelling. I stopped wearing them after a day and tried rental boot, which were much better.
