Description

Ditch the rental boots.

Now that you have the confidence and the skills to go all over the mountain, you need the proper boots. The DC Women's Karma Snowboard Boot features Direct Power lacing for a secure and comfortable fit, and a low-profile sole that shaves weight and improves board feel to provide a riding experience that puts what you've come to expect from those clunky rental boots to shame.

Direct Power Lacing uses reliable traditional lacing and upgrades it with specially designed overlays that increase leverage for optimal shell closure and a custom fit. The Red liner features heat-moldable EVA foam for a comfy custom fit and EVA insoles that absorb shock and dampen vibrations for a smooth ride. Unilite replaces rubber in the outsole to make it super-lightweight and improve rebound without sacrificing durability or traction.

Comfy

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I think I've found the one(s)! These boots are very lightweight and comfy. It doesn't take an entire army to get them on or pull them off. I could feel my toes for virtually the entire day! I have incredibly high arches and insteps, making finding the perfect pair of boots very difficult. Often, if I'm even able to get my dang instep past the narrowest part of the boot (at the ankle), I'm still going to lose feeling in my toes after a bit of time wearing the boots. Such is life. However, my feet slide right into these bad boys, and my toes weren't too bad, especially with frequent wiggling (again, this is a chronic issue for me. Not the boots' fault). They are easy to walk in, incredibly light, and have great traction, so no slipping! I must say, though, that the outsole comes up a bit far on the inside of the foot, making getting in and out of bindings a little difficult. But this is good for riding--no sliding around on your board! Overall, very pleased with my DC Karma boots.
