Get your feet right.
Run park laps, take on technical side-country, blaze down corduroy, or send it in the backcountry, the DC Men's Kush Boa Snowboard Boot turns the whole mountain into your winter playground. The groundbreaking Winch closure system blends the customization and comfort of traditional laces with the on-the-fly adjustability of a Boa. Winch cables connect to the instep loops of the lacing system locking in the heel and allowing you to loosen the boot for mellow butters and tweaked-out grabs or tighten the fit for huge drops and gnarly tree lines with a twist of the M3 reel. Directional Power Lacing leverages overlays in the boot's upper for optimal shell closure and a unique fit. The White liner progresses the adaptability and cushy feel with thermal-moldable memory foam lined in temperature regulating fleece, a dual-density EVA footbed, J-Bar supports along the ankle, and a power strap with hook-and-loop closure.
Specially designed articulation zones move with the anatomical flex of your foot for a better, more natural posture. The 3D tongue wraps your shin in responsive support helping eliminate heel lift even on near vertical turns. Stacked under foot is the lightweight, durable, and dampening Unilite outsole. Featuring a high-grip yet snow-shedding traction pattern, the Unilite outsole lets you traverse concrete, powder, or hardpack without snow buildup in the tread. The classic, skate-inspired design and the top-of-the-line synthetics in the upper ensure the Kush Boa's style won't fall off as a fad and that the boot will endure countless hours of devil-may-care riding.

Very comfy, good stiffness, sizing issue
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I had to return the boot because my toe hit the front liner a bit too close for comfort. DC boots, you need to order a FULL size up at least, to get into the ballpark. I only went a 1/2 size up.
Kush is correct!

This was the most comfortable boot I've ever put on my foot. I wanted to keep these boots so badly. I went back and forth but at the end of the day, I had to return them. Why would DC make a boot with this level of stiffness (7) but put a traditional lace system on them? It made the boot too soft. this boot isn't made for park rats, so I can't believe they put a traditional lace on this. There is a boa on the side, but it is connected to your laces so as your laces loosen up as you ride, so does the boa hold. The boa does make it nice to quickly adjust the boot on the fly mid run, but it will only keep short term. If you are looking for a mid flex (4-5) I would highly recommend this boot. also you have to be ok with traditional lace systems.
Also important to note is that these boots run about 1/2 size small. There was only a very little bit of heel lift. 2nd best of the 6 boots I ordered and tried on
Again, most comfortable boot ever.
The liner on these is super comfortable, I wish everyone used the memory foam like these. I'm not sure if it was just my particular pair, but the cord that cinches the tongue down was a real pain to move the slider up and down, and couldn't get it as tight as I like. Also, my heel would move a little in these, but that's just me, all feet are different!
