Description

Judge, jury, and big-mountain executioner.

Court is in session and you want the DC Judge Boot on your side. A fairly stiff boot built to give you the support you need in the backcountry, the Judge features the Constrictor closure system to provide unmatched heel hold and fit. So whether you're sending booters or charging hairy lines, the Judge will rule in your favor.

  • Constrictor Closure System uses dual Boa Coils to quickly cinch overlays across the forefoot and steel cables in the upper to create a solid hold free of pressure points
  • 3D tongue flexes with the boot for flex where you want it, while the molded backstay gives you the support you need
  • Aerotech ventilation system dumps hot air out directly through the shell so your feet stay dry and warm
  • Unilite soles feature DC's Push Zone tread pattern to increase traction and prevent snow from accumulating underfoot
  • Top-of-the-line Alpha liner features multi density zones to balance comfort with responsiveness, neoprene ankle straps and anatomical J-Bars to keep your heel locked in, and an Aegis anti-microbial treatment so you don't smell your feet the whole ride home
  • 1:1 shell-to-liner ratio provides a seamless fit in every size and reduced overall foot print

I love these boots, the two sets of boa laces top and bottom make for a great custom fit. Fairly stiff, making them perfect for riding steep pow lines.

Very comfortable boots and love that they're super adjustable. The best part is the heel hold. Definitely a noticeable upgrade over my old DC Scout boots from 3 years ago.

They are US sizes, however if you click the "Size Chart" link below the drop down menu, the UK sizes are listed too.

Is the width of DC Judge Boa the same as DC Travis Rice Status Boa? I have shoe size 9 and tried DC Travis Rice Status Boa and size 10.5 fit me, so DC Judge Boa should be 10.5 for me?

All day comfort. Totally tweekable fit and style for days. Matched it up with some Nitro Raiden Phantoms and got the feel and comfort I was looking for.

I've rode in these boots for about 9 days, and in that time, I haven't noticed anything wrong with them. The liner is really warm and comfortable and the Boa system is ridiculously awesome. These were my first boots with the boa system and I don't think i'll be switching back to laces any time soon. These are a stiff, responsive boot that'll give you control when you need it. 5/5 Would Buy Again.

I was curious about the "fit" on these boots. I wear a size 12 shoe. I have found that with some boots, 12's work, and with some 13's fit better. Do these boots fit pretty equally with shoe size, or do they run a little bigger/smaller that typical shoe size?

Actually, I just tried (and will be returning) some of last year's Judges in a size 10, and I wear a 10 in street shoes, and they ran too small. I had the same issue with some DC Scouts a few years ago, ended up going one full size up, to an 11. Going to do the same with the Judges.

Funny, I have the same problem with the same sizes.
Most boots I have to go up to a 13 to get a decent fit. But I was able to squeeze into the 12 in the TRICE boots which are basically the same. They are a little snug but no pain and boots usually break in a bit too.

I go with the Judge for a size half up. The status fits more true to shoe size

I wear a 12 size shoe and the size 12 judges I ordered were too small. I just exchanged for 13's.

Agree.

I wear sz9 street shoes, sz9.5 snowboard boots (Vans & Flow), but had to get 10's in DC. So I'd say size up at least a half size, but probably a whole size.

The Judge boot is awesome though. I just got mine and can wait to get them on the snow. The dual zone boa is great for getting things dialed just right, especially around the ankle. And, the boot has a really big toe box. I have a wide foot and sometimes have issues riding the hairy edge between wearing boots loose enough to not cause massive pain in my arches while still having them tight enough to keep my ankles down.

I ride back country and park. mostly kickers in the park but i want to be able to still jib around. are these right for me? i had 32 freestyle before and they were too flexible. also if i ride an 11 in 32 what size is right in DC?

These bad boys have a flex rating of 8 out of 10 from DC, so like the specs column explains they're gonna be relatively stiff. This is perfect for stopping huge kickers in the back country, but won't inhibit you from enjoying the rails in the park. Hope that helps.

Love my DC judge boots. Really convenient and easy to adjust. Have yet to have any issues and would recommend buying if you aren't on a tight budget. Remember happy and comfy feet make for an enjoyable day of boarding.

These are awesome. The ventilation system works wonders during spring boarding for sure. The closure system is super easy to custom fit based on foot shape, ride style, etc. Go for it!!! I wear a 13 street shoe. Bought a 12. Fits perfect.
