    For the freeride-obsessed.

Do stacked pillow lines, pow-choked chutes, and hidden tree stashes sound fun? If so, the DC Men's Judge Boa Snowboard Boot invites you to slash powder and straight-line steeps like a madman with its aggressive flex and supportive construction. Although it's highly responsive, the boot's articulated construction allows for a bit more ankle mobility when you're styling out grabs off cliffs and bigger jumps.

Independently tightening over the upper and lower zones, the Judge's Boa Focus system dials in excellent support for maximum energy transfer. The best part, this system really locks down your heel during aggressive riding. Plus, this specific Focus Boa uses stainless steel retention cables to prevent corrosion and breakdown over time.

The Black liner is thermo-moldable for foot-wrapping support without pressure points. Multi-density foam provides a bit more support than single-density liners, with J-bars for locked-in heel hold. Most impressive, the liner's Aerotech Ventilation enhances thermo-regulation to prevent stifling boots. Rounding things out, DC equipped the Judge with a Contact Unilte + Rubber sole for an airy-light feel, with extra traction and durability over high-wear zones.

    Comfortable, Good Grip

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I was only able to wear these for a few this spring, but am very impressed. Dual zone boa works great for dialing in fit; vents seem to work (Hiked in these on 50 deg+ days); and sole has plenty of grip but is not bulky. Really like the responsiveness, and it seems they've taken durability queues into account here (time will tell though). I had an older pair of Judges for several seasons and they never let me down. I'll be sticking with DC for a while longer.

    Comfortable, Good Grip

Very comfortable but a little problem

It's very comfortable boots if you have wide feet. But after couple times snowboarding the silicone dots starts come off. Won't affect the function but the look. I'm regular rider, so the left foot is not so bad but the right side.......

      Can't Go Wrong!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have wide feet and finding boots that were comfortable without feeling like my feet were in clamps was difficult. Then I tried a pair of DC Judge BOA over 6 years ago and haven't looked back. I'm on my third pair and it just fits me right. With the double BOAs I'm able to dial it in just right without any heel lift. When it comes time to replace these boots I'm definitely buying another pair of DC Judge BOAs.

      BEST boots!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I am now on my 6th year and 5th pair of these boots and will keep riding them as long as they make them. I have narrow feet/ankles and these things definitely keep me locked in. I also love the Dual BOA. It allows me to keep the forefoot cranked down, while running my shin a tad looser and they never come loose during the day and no need for re-ties during the day. I splitboard a ton and these boots hold up, 30+ split days and 15+ resort days a year and they hold up just fine. In 6 years of riding these I have never broke a cable, but YMMV. I really think it all in how you treat your gear... It's a cable, so I don't rest a sharpened metal edge on it during lift rides and as I've said, never a problem.

      DC x Judge SPT Colab

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

DC continues to evolve their Snow Park Technologies Colab with the Judge Boa Boot this season. The Judge is a great boot for Snowboarding as well as the tasks that the SPT Crew puts it up to when building the best parks around the world. Check out the Olive color way for the SPT Colab.

      Unanswered Question

How is toe drag in these boots? Now that many boots today have some sort of footprint reduction, do you think these have done any of that? I'm ready to swap out my old Judge's and sounds like these are solid!
