Halo 3? Who cares? The season is here. The Women's Halo Snowboard Boot from DC gives you heavenly comfort for taking your game to the mountain. This mid-stiff boot's Boa lacing system gives you on-the-fly adjustability—just push the knob in and twist to tighten; pull it out and push the tongue forward to loosen. The Halo's synthetic leather upper keeps moisture out so you can ride comfortably all day, and a foam-lined calf pad provides cushioning and support. The Gel liner of this all-mountain boot gives you the protection of a toe gel pad on big drops, while a Performalite midsole adds cushioning and reduces weight.
Bottom Line: The DC Halo gives you an angelic all-mountain ride.

I ordered at the end of the season so I haven't had a chance to actually take them out for a test run yet. However, upon trying them on and clomping around the house for awhile, these are my observations:
1. They're nice and stiff (I got them because my old ones were too flexible)
2. They fit perfectly true to size
3. They're very warm and comfprtable
4. You can lace them nice and tight and they don't come loose
5. They're so easy to loosen/tighten that a well trained border collie could do it!
Didn't even get on the slopes!

These boots loked coo, but the wire BOA system BROKE while I was in the locker room, before I had a chance to use them, even once. Which reminds me, I want to ask for a refund!

I really like this boot because it actually keeps my foot in place, nice and tight. I also feel like I have a lot of flexibility with this boot. The first time I wore them they were a bit tight, but soon they got worn in and fit fine. The boa sometimes got a bit undone after a few times down the slopes, but it's not a huge problem.

These boots are amazing. I have used them for two weekends in a row, both days. They are easy to put on, easy to keep tight. I'm a beginner and have already stepped up my level of boarding with these boots. Try them out!

They are so awesome and very easy to use. The feet warmers rock. The boots are very comfortable. Highly reccomended.
