Like a dagger.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

This jacket does exactly what I was looking for in a windbreaker. It helps cut the chill of the cold wind in the mornings, and it also packs very small and light. I wear this mostly when I go biking, both commuting to work and mountain biking, and it is great to have. As any windbreaker, it does't breathe very well, but that is pretty normal. The shoulders are pretty tight when riding a bike, but not so tight that it is uncomfortable. I wear this jacket 3-5 times a week and it has never let me down. Super light, good style, and the hood is great to have on those really windy days.

Nice but very light.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I bought this to use as a very basic/affordable windbreaker and that's exactly what it is. It's very light and thin, perfect for what I bought it for (mountain biking). It wads up into a tiny ball when you aren't using it. I wouldn't count on it for anything more than sprinkling or drizzling but for wind it works fine. If you need something more robust try a PreCip jacket or something similar.
