DC kept things nice and simple when it created the Men’s AMO 10 Jacket. You won’t find flashy (read: useless) features, just bomber fabric and solid construction. The Exotex material features critically taped seams for extra weather protection, and the storm hood keep you from getting soaked when you ride in a full-on snowstorm. DC included an internal media pocket (read: useful feature) to let you crank out some tunes when you need an extra helping of stoke.

There's no insulation in this jacket so your warmth really depends on what you're wearing underneath. This is a shell jacket, designed to give you some protection from the wind / wetness.

I've worn similar jackets in extremely cold temperatures (0 degrees or below) but I always had on a wicking long underwear layer, a softshell, and a thick insulating layer like a down jacket or sweater.

The more insulation you wear underneath this jacket, the warmer you'll be.

I'm thinking about getting the dc amo 10 jacket but im worried it won't be warm enough for the below freezing temp days. Will this be be an ok jacket?

Responded on

you should try to get something with at least 10 K breathabilty/waterproofing and you will have to wear more clothing under the coat as this is only a shell

Is this coat really thin? it looks rather thin in the picture, is that true?

Responded on

This coat is real dope. Nice baggy fit and if you layer up it'll keep you warm in colder weather. My only complaint is that the stitching on the bottom right side has started to come undone already. I have maybe 10 days of shred in this coat. Probably just a defect, should be able to warranty no problem.

yo i like my stuff really loong, im six feet tall, and i was wondering how long the size xxl jacket is in inches? cause i looked at the sizing chart and it doesnt say anything about length, which i think is kinda stupid

Responded on

hey man. im 6 feet as well and id say the xxl is probably too big. id say roll with the xl if you like your stuff baggy cause mines a large and its pretty big. hope this helps you

The jacket seems a bit short, is this true?
Should i buy one size bigger than normal?

Responded on

This jacket is generously sized, not short at all. Sometimes our pictures turn out a little janky and that could be why this jacket looks short. Choose your regular size unless you want a baggy jacket.

I have this jacket in the lapis color. Its sick! Its not short all! Im 6 feet tall and i got a medium. Its plenty big. Id say its actually on the baggy side but im kinda slim.

Responded on

it just looks short in the picture because the sleeves are pretty long. I have it in medium and the length is normal but the sleeves go down partly over my gloves.

Is this jacket only good for spring riding...

Is this jacket only good for spring riding or will it get you through the whole season keeping you warm?

This jacket has no insulation--it's a shell. but if you wear a layer or two underneath it will keep you toasty in the coldest weather.
