DC kept things nice and simple when it created the Men’s AMO 10 Jacket. You won’t find flashy (read: useless) features, just bomber fabric and solid construction. The Exotex material features critically taped seams for extra weather protection, and the storm hood keep you from getting soaked when you ride in a full-on snowstorm. DC included an internal media pocket (read: useful feature) to let you crank out some tunes when you need an extra helping of stoke.

Bottom Line: Keep it simple.

Moe,

There's no insulation in this jacket so your warmth really depends on what you're wearing underneath. This is a shell jacket, designed to give you some protection from the wind / wetness.

I've worn similar jackets in extremely cold temperatures (0 degrees or below) but I always had on a wicking long underwear layer, a softshell, and a thick insulating layer like a down jacket or sweater.

The more insulation you wear underneath this jacket, the warmer you'll be.

Scope down jackets for layering up:

you should try to get something with at least 10 K breathabilty/waterproofing and you will have to wear more clothing under the coat as this is only a shell
