    Soft, Warm, and Comfortable!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

I've got a few different pairs of ski socks and these are my first choice for colder days. They're super soft and comfortable and don't bunch up at all while I'm riding. My boot size is 11.5 and the large socks fit great.

    My favorite ski socks

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

My first choice in ski socks of many pairs. They are very warm, comfortable, and prevent blisters.

The down side is I can only ski tour in them in very cold days as my feet overheat. Lift served days these always fit the bill.

    simply the best

    • Fit: True to size

awesome sock for all winter activity - it's my 'go to' sock for skiing/boarding, snowshoeing, winter hiking and mountaineering. I like a snug fit in the heel so the M fits my size 10 foot really well. Warm, great shin padding and never fall down. I never wear anything else now.

    Better than Smartwool socks

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: True to size

Bought several of these as gifts after scouring reviews online. Everything I found rates Darn Tough as the most durable socks out there, something Smartwool seems to have left behind. Great quality mixed with a lifetime unconditional warranty makes these a must buy for anyone looking into new socks.

    Indestructable

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

I've had these socks for several years, and I simply cannot destroy them like I can most other gear. The weight is excellent. They are warm and never smelly.

    Excellent ski socks!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size

Finally got to use the pair I bought on a recent ski trip with some friends to Salt Lake City Utah. They always kept my feet nice and warm. No smell after using them 3 days in a row without washing. Worth the extra money in my opinion.

    Great Socks!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These bad boys maintain their shape and support even when being seriously abused on a long day on the mountain. They keep your feet warm on cold days, and with a thin sock liner, do a great job wicking sweat away when the temperatures rise. I wore one pair last year through the season, then trashed my other board socks and got more of these. Good decision!

    The best

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Darn Tough makes the BEST socks on the market. Made it Vermont, comfortable, and magical durability. I thru-hike the Appalachian Trail in a total of 4 pairs of their lightest run/bike socks. Amazing given how thin they were, Smartwool users used two pairs of socks per 300 miles. My thinner darn toughs were for over 1000 miles per two pairs. These SKI socks are obviously much thicker. They are warm, fit true to size, comfortable and have just the right amount of cushion. Plus they come with a lifetime warranty. I'm a total darn tough fan-boy.

    Best cold weather sock evar

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

These socks have a WOW factor with warmth. They don't feel bulky but if your ski boot has a race fit they will be snug. Don't seem to fall down the calf but I wish the calf portion was stretchier. It makes them hard to put on. That being said, they are a very warm performance sock and I highly recommend.

    Best. Socks. Ever.

I'm a big fan of Darn Tough socks, and these ski socks are no exception. The seamless toe design is a nice touch and the padded shin is also comfy in my Scarpa Mobe boots. The real selling point on these is the merino though. I'm no fabric expert but I'm probably more picky about socks than any other piece of gear and Darn Tough has convinced me that not all merino is created equal. They never make me itchy and they are very long wearing socks. Between the BC return policy and Darn Toughs guarantee you have nothing to lose by trying them... except maybe all your other socks when the DT's spoil you.

I also dig that they're made in Vermont!

I'm an 11.5 or 12 and The XL fits perfectly.

      Best. Socks. Ever.

Been rocking Darn Tough for years

These are one of the best midweight ski socks available. The attention to detail with the padded shins helps keep my boot bang at a tolerable pain level. Cool looking design and color pattern keep them interesting. I use these down to about 5 degree temperatures on the slopes and they keep my feet pretty warm.

        Favorite Socks!

I feel like this sock grips my calf the most out of any of my ski socks, Ive had a few pairs over the years and it takes a while for them to lost their elasticity. The real amazing thing however I noticed the other day. I stuck my ski boot in a creek and filled it with cold water. The merino stayed warm the entire time and I never even felt my toes get cold! I stayed walking for another hour or so until I got to the car and still no sense of cold, truly amazing.

          Best socks ever.

          • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Alpine, Park, AT, work, these socks have been run through the ringer by me and my wife and neither of us have worn them out. I can not same the same for some other socks we've tried and killed.

Darn Tough's hiking socks are the bomb as well.

          Warm, but???

          • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I picked up these socks for riding and also for winter fishing. They are warm and comfy as Merino should be. Just the trick for the river. However, when I ride with these they tend to slip down my leg which can be frustrating. They are tall enough to go over the calf, however could use a little more elasticity in my opinion

          Darn comfy

          • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These are the 5th pair of socks I have from Darn Tough. Love them all. I bought these because I finally put a hole in my favorite snowboard socks. Bought these in the black/blue colorway, and they are super comfy. Combined with my new-ish boots, my feet are sooooo comfy. Four stars only because although they are plenty warm, I wish they were just a scosche thicker. Now I have to try and destroy these to see if they live up to the name! I am going to order more of these as money allows. True to size. Buy with confidence!
