Comfort works from ones sole to the soul!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

Have used these socks on the AT, at the house, on the boat, up and down hills... and all about. Quickly becoming my go to sock for just about everything. I have Smartwool socks, 5.11 tactical socks, -33 socks, point 6 socks (which I consider the ultimate)... Cool max, wool, light weight, mid weight, heavy weight, and everything between... At all times of the year... And time and again, I find myself pulling these out of my bag of tricks. It seems as if these are the ideal weight for wear in just about any shoe. Listed as a medium thickness (weight) sock, these are actually, I feel, between a light-weight and a medium-weight sock. They wear fantastic, as in they stay up perfectly, don't bunch up at all, and seemingly massage my feet all day long. Even after days of use, they hold up well... Warm and Durable

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I bought two pairs of these to use in my upcoming Appalachian Trail thru hike in '14. In the meantime have been wearing them while breaking in the pair of Merrells that I plan on starting the trail with. I often lose socks to my treadmill, but these look as good as the day I unboxed them. They feel absolutely fantastic, and they don't stink!

Cons: I should have bought more; I hate taking them off; my cotton socks are angry with me.

No really, Darn Tough

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These socks, like all Darn Tough socks, are probably the most durable socks on the planet. They are super comfortable and do indeed wick moisture extremely well. Plus, you are helping to keep the Appalachian Trail in good shape when you buy this sock!
