    Darn toughs are darn tough

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

I hiked the first part of the Pacific Crest Trail in Smartwool socks, then switched to Darn Tough hiking socks. They are MUCH more durable. These could last you an entire thru-hike if you're not careless and lose one of them in the laundry at a hostel like me... I have two pairs that I have successfully not lost and hiked well over 1000 miles in them, and they still look brand new. And if you do happen to wear a hole in them, Darn Tough will gladly replace them for you for FREE! I hiked that trail in the lower rise versions of these, but decided to get the crew height to add some variety to my wardrobe. Awesome quality and comfort, you will not be disappointed!

    Sweetness!!!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

On my recent trek through the Peruvian Andes, my team and I hiked 50 miles through the rain, snow, mud and up/down endless Incan stairs. These socks lived up to the name. Not only were they very comfortable, I didn't get a single blister. Highly recommended. I bought 5 pair and wear them on and off the trail.

    for your life

I finally converted to Darn Tough from Smartwool and I'm never going back. These socks are amazing. I went touring and ice climbing 5 days in a row in these socks and they still don't smell! With a lifetime warranty, why would you order anything else?

      Better than Smartwool socks

      • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Bought several of these as gifts after scouring reviews online. Everything I found rates Darn Tough as the most durable socks out there, something Smartwool seems to have left behind. Great quality mixed with a lifetime unconditional warranty makes these a must buy for anyone looking into new socks.

      Investments.

I was one of those people rocking cheap-o socks for 87% of my life. Until one day someone gave me a pair o these.

      Never. Going. Back.

      Ever.

So much comfier, they stay clean longer, they last longer, they smell better, they keep your feet warmer and dryer.

      Need I continue...?

I was morally opposed to spending more than $5 for a pair of socks, but it's one of those things you cannot understand until you've pulled the trigger.

      So neat.

      I'm a Darn Tough convert

Bye-bye SmartWool socks! I have a number of Darn Tough hiking socks and have found them to be better fitting and more durable than my SmartWools. Glad to have another pair. I find them to be true to size (I'm a narrow 7.5 womens and wear the medium).
