Comfortable

Comfortable socks and great wicking and thermal abilities. I wore them over a liner of Injinji toe socks for a 75KM winter race. Feet were soaked from the snowshoe portion, but everything stayed toasty.
I can't comment on the durability until next season. So far, so good.

I listened to one of the customer service people on the site when I asked his opinion of the best socks. Very happy with these socks so far. A couple of runs in them and they fit great and have great padding. The lifetime warranty and made in Vermont are really cool. Will buy some more asap.

Best new gear out there!

By:

I love these socks!! They're my new obsession for outdoor gear. They work for any activity/sport. I have both the shorter/ankle sock and the higher "hiking" sock. I found these socks when I started a marathon training program last Jan. They kept my feet warm, dry and blister free. I've used the "hiking" sock for snowboarding, skiing, hiking and just everyday use in the winter. They've been washed so much, but they never get scratchy. Soft and cozy every time. I guess they guarantee them for life because they can; they never wear out! These are soooooooooo worth the purchase!

These are the nicest fitting socks I've tried. Great padding but don't feel bulky and hug my foot. Wish you had the thinner style I saw on their web site. Will purchase some more.

If you like smart wool socks you will like these. Merino wool is awesome, EVERYTHING Merino. Have been wearing them for two months so about 10+ times and they still are in good shape. I have no complaints. They fit snug.

I used these all the time. The merino is a great material that helps the feet wick sweat and keep them warm when they need to be. Size 10 fits a medium very well.

These socks work for everything, hiking skiing, casual, construction projects, light reading in front of a fire. I wouldn't invest and any other sock brand, for anything, these blow Smartwool away!

I was really surprised how comfortable these socks are for just wearing around to hiking in. They have also stayed really soft after a couple of washes. Merino is the best.

great socks

The only problem with these so far is that I only have one pair. They are thick and tough, yet hiking in the summer here in Utah my feet are cool and dry. When I wear them around the house, they are as warm as my slippers.
