Yet, despite the cushioning these socks provide for long miles in your hiking boots, these socks aren't bulky. No bulk means your boots don't cut off the circulation to your feet and your socks won't bunch as you trek to the mountain peak. Made from soft wool, these Darn Tough socks pull perspiration away from your feet so they stay dry and comfortable. Ribbing above the ankle and elastic in the arch provide a proper fit. These socks maintain shape and provide great support without being too tight. All wool socks tend to get loose over time (unless you cook them in the dryer - not good), not these. Very durable so far, the cushioning resists flattening out longer than any other sock I have worn.

Perfect fit and they somehow stay up all day. Wore these in boots that always give me blisters the first couple of times I wear them. These socks wicked, dried and fit so good...no blisters. The only issue is I need more. Worth every penny.

These socks are super soft, breathable, and I love the extra cushion on the bottom. Great for long hikes!!
