Dansko Scout Boot - Women's - 2009 BCS

I have tried other dansko shoes prior to purchasing these boots, and they have generally been too wide. I thought these boots may be different, but alas...they are too wide. They seem very comfortable otherwise and they are cute boots. Just not for narrow footed people!

I have been called the "Dansko Queen" because I own a ridiculous number of Danskos but these were my first Dansko boot and I love them!!!!! Tried and true Dansko comfort, style and they keep my feet warm!! I work in them for 14 hours!!! They look great with everything!!!

Thanks to bad foot genetics, I live in Danskos but, get tired of the same look. These boots fit the bill. My foot is wide (bunion), and these are a tiny bit narrow, but seem to be stretching out well. The toe also scuffs easily. Otherwise, I'd give them 5 stars.

I love Dansko and have owned many over the last ten or twelve years. This is the first Dansko boot other than a riding boot that I have ever worn. I really like it and could not have gotten a better deal (and I looked!) anywhere. I did have to use a lot of leather conditioner on the boot, especially in the braided area of the zipper to make them comfortable- the leather may have been a little stiffer that the leather on the Dansko shoes that I wear. I think that the boots may run slightly smaller than the shoes -maybe a half size, and I think that I will be happy with my regular size 37, but I still wonder if I should have gone up a size. Too bad Dansko doesn't make half sizes!
