Nine to five can be murder on your feet and back. Dansko designed its Women’s Phoebe Clog for ultimate comfort. Extreme shock absorption (similar to an athletic shoe) guards against foot and lower back pain, and the soles are slip-resistant for safety. The supportive insoles are catered to high arches, and a thermoplastic reinforced toe box adds durability and protection. The anti-fatigue rocker bottoms keep your feet moving all day while the antimicrobial insoles help guard against foot odor.Comes complete with an endorsement from the American Podiatric Medical Association.

Can't live without my Danskos!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I have worn Danskos for 11 years now! These are a great work shoe and the Phoebe adds a bit of style to the professional! Cute and comfy! Love the way the top of these stretch with your stride! Would be great for anyone with a high arch!

Great shoes!

I'm on my feet all day and these clogs keep my pups happy! This is my fist pair of Dansko clogs and I would definitely buy another pair! The only thing is, if you want to wear these with warm socks or thicker socks, order a size up! I'm a size 9.5-10, and I ordered a size 40, I wish I got a size 41 so I could comfortably wear hiking socks with them, oh well! They still fit with normal socks.

best ever, esp. with high arches

I LOVE Danskos, but I always have a problem getting them to fit right because I have higher arches. These are the answer! Because of the small elastic bands on the side they fit like a dream. They are cute, stylish and well made. Thinking about asking for these in black for Christmas!

    Cute and Comfy

I am really pleased with my Dansko Phoebe Clogs. I have been wearing my Dansko Black Oiled Clogs for several years and am still very happy with them. So I was looking for a brown pair. I am happy that I went with the Phoebe's that have a little more style and are a fun change of pace. As always, my feet are very happy in my Danskos.

      Love my clogs =)

I've worn the same brown Professional Dansko clogs for the past 10 years- other than a few scuffs, they are still in great condition. I felt it was time to kick it up a notch, and try a pair with a bit more flair to them, and ordered the black Phoebe clogs. I loved the little rivets and elsatic on the sides. I was worried that I would get a pair w/o the rivets, as another purchaser found when she received her clogs- but I lucked out! Rivets were there! I have a feeling that they are a discontinued feature of the Phoebe clogs, so buyers should be aware that they may receive a pair w/o that feature ( I noticed on other sites Phoebe clogs no longer showed them- just the elastic) Thought I'd mention it in case it was a selling point for some.
Otherwise, same great quality, and understated style. I'm really pleased with my purchase. And Backcountry and USPS got them to me zippity quick.
Gotta love a Saturday delivery =)

When did you start making safety, slip resistant shoes??? Wish I had these back in March 2013! I have several pairs of regular Dansko's- started a new job in March that requires safety toe and slip resistance shoes, ( I looked for Dansko's first!) Come time to replace the shoes I have now, I will order Dankso!! love these shoes!

i normally wear a 9 1/2 wide so is a size 40 correct to order?

I know you asked this question forever ago, but in case this helps you or someone else, here goes -

I wear an 8 1/2 and I always get size 40's for closed-back Dansko clogs. My foot is on the narrow side and I've tried the narrow Pro's, which are just a bit snug in the width so I've gone back to the regular width and my foot moves side-to-side just a bit more than I want, but I still love the fit overall. All that being said, the Phoebe is probably a bit diffeent because the elastic goring allows more leeway in the width and for a higher arch. but I'm still thinking that if you are a 9 1/2 you should try the 41's.

        Hope this helps somebody! :)
