Wear your Danner Men's EXO Edge GTX Mid Hiking Shoes to work, and then take off a tad early for a quick hike up Mount Si in Washington. These versatile hiking shoes feature Gore-Tex XCR waterproof liners that help your feet stay dry should you encounter typical Northwest weather. It weighs as much as a typical hiking shoe - maybe a pound. And the size is right on to maybe a half size big.They weigh 32oz. per pair & I've found Danner's run true to size.

These replaced an older pair of Danner boots I had, and after two excellent boots, I'm sold on any Danner product. The boot fits a little large - I usually wear a 12, but 11.5 fits right. The traction with these is second to none on terrain from wet rocks, steep muddy trails, and snow and ice. They only score 4 stars because they are not 100% waterproof. Normally I add mink oil to my boots to further enhance the waterproof characteristics of them, but with these I did not do that. I'll admit they're waterproof everywhere except for the tongue in between the laces. Regardless, these boots have gone from my weekend footwear to daily footwear during the fall.
