The Dalbello Il Moro T I.D. ski boot brings the progressive flex and customizable design you expect from Dalbello, along with signature style from Tanner Hall himself. Glen Plake designed this boot based on the Krypton Pro, replacing the top buckle with a wide, frictionless slap-ratchet strap for ultimate free-flexing performance. Tanner Hall gave it some Rasta love with a red, green, and gold custom color scheme.
Intuition Silver I.D. liner is super light, warm, and remoldable
Liners pre-molded to shells in-house for precise shell interaction
Freeride (medium) and Park (soft) tongues included along with stiffening spine inserts for a total of 8 flex profiles
Viscoelastic Anti-shock bootboard included
Bottom Line: Boost it huge and let 'er buck, sight?
I find that the Intuition liners take longer to pack out than say a Salomon boot, being a high quality foam. Don't remember exactly how many days it took, but somewhere around 1 to 2 months of straight skiing. Compared to older pairs of boots that took just a couple weeks. Also, they can be reheated to puff them back out.
The best thing about Dal Bello's is that they are so customizable that you can adjust them to how you ski. Interchangeable tongues allow you to adjust how stiff they are as well as the wings in side the shell. There are different boot boards depending on what type of performance you are looking for. Bottom line is these boots are great and with a good boot fitter your foot will be loving you. They may feel a bit softer than a traditional race boot at first but once you get use to them you will love them!
Dalbello boots are narrower than Salomon's. Like a 98mm last compared to a 102mm. They will feel (in my experience) close to the same in the calf, but the ankle to ball will be tighter. The toe box is comfortably sized for most feet. Size wise, do your Ghosts fit a little loose or sloppy? If so, drop accordingly, Dalbello is slightly smaller but all liners pack out.

Wayyy better than the full tilt first chair boot. Super customizable. I have been using the 'B' tounge and its nice. Large shin clip makes shin bang a thing of the past. The top clip isn't a normal clip either, I love it. It makes adjusting your boots while still on the lift possible. So easy I can do it with gloves on without having to pull up the bottom of my pants. Mega plus.
i am between this boot and the krypton pro id, what are the main differences in the feel of the boot? it is meant to be a park specific boot but is it much different from the pro?
The IL Moro is noticeably softer in the flex than the Pro, since it is meant for park. I prefer the medium flex tongue on the Pro over the IL Moro for an all mountain set up, but if you live in the park than you can't beat the IL.
These are a great boot, but when it gets warm the flex gets a little too deep for my liking. Im an all mountain skier not as much park as these boots maybe recommend.
Brad, switch the tounge to the stiffer B and add the wedge to the back cuff. If you like, try standing the boot to 11 degrees by removing the rear wedge. I think you will find the boot then plenty stiff in the warm weather.
Thanks Gabe, it was really down to the Seth pro boot and these because I heard these two are the best. I asked the same question about the the other boot and seth said probably not, so I know which boot im rollin wit.
these work well with large calves, as for the ankles -- they are a tight fit, however if you live near a good boot fitter they will be able to modify the shell (something that all boot-fitters should be able to do) and then you should have a killer combo. the ID liner is a great start in getting a killer fit. also i would recommend a custom insole to stabilize your foot.
what is the difference between these and the Krypton iL Moro I.D. (the non-Tanner Hall version)? I mean besides the huge price difference and the fancy colors/celebrity endorsement they seem like the same boot.
there is also a difference between the bottom buckle, as the il moro is inverted. The top buckle is also different. instead of a classic buckle and velcro band, the top buckle of the il moro is a ratchet system like those on snow board boots so it actively flexes with the boot. the krypton also has other features, such as stiffiners to put in the back of the boot, additionally to stiffer tounges. hope that helps. persoanlyl the il moro fit on my foot better, but the krypton can be anything from a easy-flex boot to a 30 foot cliff dropping boot.
