As winter creeps down the mountain to your cozy cabin, put on the Dakota Grizzly Keaton Flannel Shirt and finish chopping up the tree that will keep you warm at least through March. A warm cotton flannel like the Keaton does wonders as you work in the crisp late autumn air thanks to its button-up front and easily roll-able sleeves, and once you finish doing your man-chores head into the one-room log hut for a bowl of chili made by the greatest woman on the planet.

Bottom Line: Do man-things in the Keaton.

Horrible Description. Here's what this shirt actually is.

The description of this shirt makes it seem as if it is a heavyweight winter flannel. In reality it would be better described as a "western flannel." I bought this flannel for my boyfriend for Christmas. Being that we live in Northern WI, he loves his flannel shirts during the cold winters. He has other Dakota Grizzly shirts and loves them, but when I read this review I thought it would be perfect for him. It is not nearly as heavyduty and warm as his other shirts. He won't let me return it for a different, warmer shirt. He said this shirt would be his "dressy flannel." Do not buy this shirt unless that is what you are going for. Extremely disappointed in backcountry's description.

Good shirt!

Comfortable!...that's basically it, I guess. I'd recommend it. If I'm going to be critical...the color of the shirt in the picture is a bit "lighter" than the reality of it. The color is much brighter in person, but nonetheless, I still like it.

Good Shirt

For the most part this is a great shirt. The flannel is soft and I especially love the pearl snaps. The ony downside is that it's a bit tight along the back. I usually wear a medium and the medium feels a little tight in the back under the arms. You might want to size up.

Great quality flannel - lumberjack sizing

This shirt is a great value. The material is extremely soft, but also extremely burly. I ordered a men's large but it fit more like an extra large. Many of my flannel shirts shrink after a few washes, but this shirt doesn't show any signs of shrinkage, so unless you are a bear of a lumberjack or planning to wear this flannel shirt over a lot of other layers, I'd recommend downsizing a size from your normal shirt size.
