Freeride for the ladies.
What do you think of when you hear 'freeride fit?' Probably something big and boxy—shaped like a man, right? That's usually the case. Dakine's designers have come up with something different, though. Their women-specific Xena jersey's freeride fit is loose and comfortable, but it maintains a flattering shape. So, now you can have a women-specific fit in a jersey that isn't skin-tight.
to the Xena jersey's polyester fabric with Microban
antimicrobial technology, you stay dry and comfortable all day, even in
mid-summer. Moisture is pulled away from your skin and to the surface of
the fabric, where it evaporates quickly. While that's going on, the
Microban is knocking out all those nasty little bacteria that give
gear its the not-so-fresh post-ride odor. Dakine built the Xena with polyester mesh side panels to let cooling air flow through the jersey. This, in turn, forces hot, moist air out to keep you cool and comfortable.
Aside from its technical construction, the Xena is basically a casual shirt, perfectly at home at the pub after your ride. The Dakine Xena Jersey comes in sizes Small through X-Large. It's available in the colors Red, Houndstooth, Monaco, or Black.

Makes a Good Ride Even Better
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
I've used this jersey a few times and it has been a great choice so far. Wicks sweat really well, doesn't ride up or chafe, has a super unrestricted yet flattering fit. Pretty much it's an all-around shred ready jersey. I'm around 5'2" 120lbs and got the small.
