If you're still headed to the resort weeks after everyone else has hung up their skis or board for the season DAKINE's Viper Gloves are made for you. The lightweight spring gloves for men are made without insulation and a compression molded neoprene knuckle panel. They have a low-profile performance fit and their padding has made them a favorite of park and pipe riders.

Bottom Line: You won't have to pull off your gloves every time you hop on the lift anymore.

Geat for Skydiving

By:

I use these gloves for skydiving and they're great. They're thin enough to have complete dexterity and movement in my hands and the rubberized palms provide excellent grip even in cold weather. I bought these gloves for winter skydiving, where temperatures at altitude get around 12 degrees, plus a 120mph windchill. My hands stay warm and comfortable for the entire trip up and down. Well see how long they hold up, but so far they're doing pretty well. They do a great job of keeping that killer wind away from my skin.

awesome gloves

By:

I bought a pair of the '06 DAKINE Viper gloves and they're awesome. Great for spring riding, I don't know about in the middle of winter though, as I haven't been able to wear them in 15F temps yet. Super grippy, and they look awesome, and let's face it, everyone's nose runs. Sometimes when I don't have easy access to a tissue I gotta use that handy thumb nose wiper thing. Just be sure to wash the gloves, because you don't want to ride around with your snot the entire season. My only complaint is that the fingers aren't as long as Burton gloves (I have long fingers) but that's not the glove's fault.

i had previously bought a pair of these gloves and had some problems with the stitching. however, the lifetime warranty was a major plus and i haven't had any problems since the new pair arrived.

Thin to win

By:

Nice pipe glove, but not much to it. really thin material, wouldn't use unless its a 40 degree bluebird day in the park.
If that it what you are looking for this is a great glove. Low profile and a sold grip.

I love these gloves. When it's warm out, they're great. When I'm riding park even when it's fairly cold, they are warm enough if I'm hiking back up. Snow sometimes gets up my arms a bit, but that's normal.
I love these gloves!

Great gloves, just keep in mind...

These are definitely gloves for warm spring days. I bought mine for bike riding in the winter, and even with the Patagonia liners they are cold when its below 0 degrees Celsius. This is not to say that the gloves are not good. They are great for what they are designed to do. Nice look, nice feel, nice price.
