Perfect fit for a long weekend getaway

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This bag traveled well on a weekend trip to Colorado. Made it on the plane as checked baggage without issue for the standard checked bag fee. Plenty of room for my 153 board, all my weekend clothes and gear (including helmet!), plus it has two zippered outer pockets for each boot lined to keep wet boots away from other stuff. Well constructed seams and zippers and liner. Over the shoulder strap plus handles for easy carrying. I got the black lattice floral color - nice simple design for a lady that likes subtle feminine touches. I'll be storing my gear in this in the attic during the off season and know my gear is safe for another go around!

exactly what I was looking for

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

I got this bag as a gift and it's perfect. I wanted something that was durable and padded and had space for both my powder board (151) and my all-mountain board (145) with both sets of bindings, boots, layers and outerwear. This fits the bill perfectly. No need to worry about the 'extra space'--when packed to the max, that extra 6 cm disappeared.

exactly what I was looking for

Okay so i am shopping around for a bag. i have found this one and i really like it, i do not want something with wheels. i want something i can put in the car and then bring it into the lodge without breaking my board. I also want something that can fit my jacket, helmet, boots, etc. in it without being too cramped. Is this a good choice?

this is an excellent choice--this bag stores both of my boards and bindings, all base layers and all of my outerwear in the main pocket without issues (with boots in their designated pockets)! and the zippers seem strong and tough.might take some finagling, but i don't see why it couldn't be packed to the max.

Does this bag have a mental backing so the bag doesn't bend during travel? If not, do you know what bags do?

No, there is no frame inside the bag. I've not had any trouble with the bag bending. Usually pack the empty space with outerwear, goggle case, etc. and had no problems. I also have a Dakine Low Roller, it does have some supports for the wheels that cover about a 1\3 of the bag giving it much more support.

does this bag hold boots too?

does this bag hold boots too?

Yes, there's an exterior-access boot pocket.
