Great and compact everything you need

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Throw it in my backpack with the avy gear and your good to go. Very compact and portable has everything you need for any unexpected issues with your set up no more searrching the mtn or using the screwdriver on a string YAAYYY!!!

my preferred tool

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is a more bulky tool, so I opt not to keep this in a pants or jacket pocket. I keep this in my pack, because really, there are tool benches at the bottom and top of lifts if I really need to adjust something in-bounds. But, if I am adjusting my binders at home for the changing conditions, or switching boards, this is my go too tool. It fits my hand really well, the two-way ratcheting is a plus, and I have a bunch of extra hardware for any other home fix needed. For my needs I really only use the phillips bit.

decent, but not really good

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The switch for the ratchet is smooth and it is not easy to hit the right position with the first try.

Also, when the screw is already loose you can neither use the rathchet (it is normal) nor reach the ratchet itself with fingers (which is uncomfortable).

Other devices, like Burton Bullet are much better in this sence.

Finally, I cannot imagine why would you need so many different drivers setuping your snowboard?

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Tightens up everything in a jiff.

The ratchet feature is nice and overall if you don't have a pack it isn't something heavy in your pocket.

If you end up at a yard sale chances of injury from it would probably be slim

Great Tool with Nice Handle Ergonomics

I love using the Dakine Torque Driver when I need to get a little more aggressive when tightening my bindings. The way the tool is shaped makes it fit great in your hand. Comes with everything you could need to fix your shred stick and make sure you are having a good time. There are other, smaller tools out there but having one you can lean into makes a huge difference. Bottomline: Great tool that lets you attack your binding adjustment process.
