Description

Bring all you need into the backcountry with the DAKINE Tactic Pack.

Be prepared on your next backcountry ski trip—load the DAKINE Tactic Pack with your avalanche gear and daily essentials. The 1500cu inch main compartment holds plenty of food and clothing for a day of touring fresh powder, and the front shovel pocket keeps your avie gear at hand in case of an emergency. DAKINE gave the Tactic Pack a diagonal ski carry system to hold your planks when the approach gets steep enough to hike.

Perfect pack for x-c ski

I was looking for the perfect pack for backcountry ski trips (day trips). This is it! I love it. Perfect size and functionality. Comfortable to wear and ski with. You don't even know it's there.

Love this Pack!

This pack is perfect skiing inbounds or for backcountry days trips. Dakine thought of everything when building this pack. There are pockets for: goggles, skins, shovel, probe, snacks, water, extra layers, etc. It is a perfect size for day trips. And the new adjustable wire loop will hold every size of ski from the fastest to the thinnest. I use this pack every day and love it!

The dakine website gives you some more pictures of the inside (http://dakine.com/ski/packs/snow/tactic/). i dont have the backpack but i have been looking into getting it and it seems to have compartments made for BC gear, but according to some reviews, not the biggest compartments. http://www.wildsnow.com/977/guest-review-dakine-tactic-backpack/
