I've been an habit traveler and a skier your many years and this Dakine roller is the best luggage I've ever had. Very resistent and lightweight, perfect size. I just bought my 2nd one for my wife, the other, after a year of heavy use looks pretty good, even though airlines have tried hard to destroy it....
Light colors for air traverl is no good....
Does this bag qualify as carry-on size? I don't have any

Most airlines regulate carry on size at 22" x 14" x 9" (Delta,NW,SW) , others (Continental,American Airlines) will calculate a linear measurement (L+W+H) of up to a best case scenario of 55". This particular bag measures 30" x 14" x 13". So you should look at the Dakine over under bag instead.

i love this bag,it has enough room for a trip to anywhere for a month!!i love the seperate compartments,great for shoes,or toiletries.i highly recomend this bag!

Well, if it doesn't split into two pieces the description is not a little confusing. It's wrong.

I know the description to this item is a little confusing; but to answer your question this bag doesn't split into two pieces. Only the convertible split rollers, can be split into two pieces. I hope this helps!

My wife and I love this bag, since it travels so well. It seems very expandable, and we can always stuff just more piece of clothing or jacket in it. It has just the right amount of compartments, and the handles are placed in the right places. The wheels are good and sturdy, and we have sent it thru the airline baggage handlers several times and it has held up well.
We like the fact that it splits into two halves for easy packing. We have traveled all over the world with this bag. Taiwan, Hong Kong, Europe, Mexico, Puerto Rico. It just works great.
It's also light and generally not expensive. We just love it!
