Much nicer than I expected. The black is classy and minimal. Fits my 179 LINE prophet 90 nicely with just a few inches to spare so its just the right size.

Would this bag fit in a thule roof rack ski carrier with skis in it?

It should fit no problem. The bag isn't padded so the bulk will me very little more than just your skis themselves

I bought this for a cross-country train and skiing trip, but ended up cancelling due to the lack of snowfall this past winter. Anyways, I packed it with 184 Surface pow skis and had plenty of extra space for poles, clothes, and bags of pb&j sandwiches. Although I didn't end up going, I'm assuming it would've worked fine, and I plan on using it this winter for bringing skis and all my other crap to the mountains.

how did it hold up?

You can definitely fit a pair of poles in there. Can't answer your question about airline travel though, sorry.

I wouldn't use this for airline travel it's not padded and your skis may bounce around. I use mine to protect them in the back of our truck, but you never know what those TAA people do to stuff :(

Poles will fit no problem, but do not use this for airline travel, spend the extra money for a bag with padding. Both you and the airline will be happy.

Would this bag fit a pair of blends @ 183? sounds to me like its a tight fit with sizes that are smaller than that.

If you buy the 190 bag they will fit no problem and you can use the extra space to stuff some jackets or pants in there.

Does what it's supposed to do. Fits my 177cm skis with a bit to spare. Nothing fancy but it works.

I know the bag is 185 cm, but would I be able to realistically fit a pair of 185's in it?

I doubt it. I got this bag for my 184cm mantra and they barely fit. It is sort of hard to get them in because the zipper is not opening beyond the edge which would have made it perfect for my skis.

I got this bag for my K2 Apache Recon 177s. This bag is durable and great for transporting skis to the mountain and storing them.

is this ski bag padded?
