Great little backpack
It says its for bicycling, but I strap this on my back and go for long runs, carrying all the water i need. Its very well fit and not too big or too small.
Very nice price too.
excellent pump holder and good pocket up top for phone & glasses
this thing isn't huge so i ended up adding an under the seat bag to carry tool/tube so i can put lunch in the pack. holds a jacket and map well.
water flow is slower than a camelbak
Great Low-Profile Pack!
Previous packs used included the Camelback Mule and Lobo. If I don't have to, I'd rather not use a pack on XC rides. The Mule was way too big, Lobo not bad, but it was too long and it obscured jersey pockets and made retrieving food difficult. Enter the Shuttle. I bought because I needed a hydration pack that would allow access to my jersey pockets and this fits the bill. It's short enough and the straps are out of the way allowing easy access to my jersey pockets. First use was during a 100 mile mtb race and it performed flawlessly. Pack is low profile and comfortable throughout the day. I easily stashed my emergency kit (CO2 cartriges, tube, patch kit, tire levers) and a multi-tool in the main zippered pocket. Plenty of room in the open pocket for a tube and/or food stash. Didn't use it yet, but the lined pocket is nice for the sunnies or ipod. Loved the Hydrapack 70oz bladder - I like the fold-to-close feature (makes for easy cleaning) and the capacity is big enough to hold 3-3.5 hrs worth of water. Love the quick-disconnect hose, but I prefer the skinnier Camelback hose and the Camelback 90 degree bite-valve (this is 45 degree). Pack is super comfortable, straps breathe well and it is easily adjustable - I disconnected it, but this pack does come with a waist belt. Once adjusted, there is a lot of loose strapping, but I rolled them all up and zip-tied them out of the way. Great pack that looks as good as it performs. Winner.
Awesome Pack and Great Size!
This Hydro Pack rocks! Way strong 2 liter reservoir is plenty for a day ride and super easy to fill and clean. Reservoir can be turned inside out to better clean it. 3 pockets, 2 with zippers and one with out. Room for a pump, wallet, keys, phone, camera, snacks, and multi tool, but feels super light and small. Dont forget that Dakine always have fantastic quality and wicked styling!

Pack rocks! Great size.
Unless you are biking miles from civilization and need to carry a spare everything, this pack is just the right size for a few hour jaunt. If you pack carefully, you can get keys and wallet, phone, multi tool, 2 tubes, mini-pump/CO2, and snacks in the pack. Also think you could get a spare tire in the external cording, though I have play with that.
Its well built and the fit and finish was perfect. Love the Hydrapak bladder. Its simple to fill and clean and the quick disconnect means you don't have unravel the sip tube to fill the pack.
The only negative is that some of the straps don't have a the loops to hold the strap ends down and they will flop around when riding. But really, that is being picky.
Fits like a glove
Never owned a hydration pack before. This one is great. I forget it is there until I am thirsty.
Great water bottle. Comfortable, doesn't leak, and holds just the right amount of water. I can fit my blackberry in the little pocket too!
I bought this for my niece who is becoming a super athlete. She loves it and her mom is so happy she's staying hydrated.
Houston we like it
Sweet small pack for shorter rides. Water resevoir could be a bit bigger. Sunglass pocket is very nice. Enough room to hold multi tool, tube, sunglasses and pump. Dakine's Bladder is awesome. The top opens fully so you can clean and fill easily. Definitely will be using this skiing this winter in addition to while on the bike. Well thought out by dakine!
Gets the job done..
Would be a 5 Star but it's only a 2L water reservoir not a 3L as advertised. Works great though and holds enough water for a day ride. Has room for a snack and your keys. not much room for anything else.
Does this pack include the 100oz reservoir...
Does this pack include the 100oz reservoir water pack and tube??
Yes it does.
It says 70 in the specs
Just enough water for an hour or two of tearin' it up. I snowboard and run with it too and it's very comfortable. But the hose sometimes kinks at the zipper and I have to fight it.
