DAKINE Sequoia Glove - Women's - 2008 BCS

Gloves run a little too big for me. I got an Adult S and my hands aren't that small, but I still had a lot of finger space left. The overall design and function of the gloves are great, but I just wish they were more fitted. Zipper compartment is great and the underlining is good for after the trip. They keep your hands toasty!

I usually wear mediums but have short fingers. The fingers are too long. While it is warm and waterproof the gaiter part of the glove doesn't extend far enough over my jacket. If you have to remove your gloves for any reason they are difficult to put back on and adjust when it's windy or snowing when your other hand is gloved. If the gaiter was made with a stiffer material and more extended it would work better. I use these as my backup gloves for snowboarding. I break them out for milder conditions. When it's nasty out I use the Black Diamond Prodigy but that glove is twice as expensive. Bottom Line: If it fits your hand it's not a bad glove for the price.

I picked these out for my girlfriend and they are really good overall. They are built well, look great with pretty much any jacket/pants, very waterproof with gore-tex inserts and lots of other cool high end features. They do run slightly large. She measured an 8 and the mediums fit perfectly. Also they have a squeegy built in which I had to borrow her hand a few times to wipe my goggles when it was sleeting. Great glove, just keep in mind you might want to size down.
