The DAKINE Sequence Pack is designed for those ready to go out and do some gravity research (aka photography) of their own—get that perfect shot, thanks to the perfect pack. If you've dumped the gross national product of Latvia on photography equipment, don't just throw it in any old rucksack when you go out to shoot your buddies. The DAKINE Sequence Pack allows you to carry either skis or a board, while offering an extremely well thought out camera block for storing all that equipment you'll use as you film the coolest sports movie since Gleaming the Cube. The removable padded camera bag allows you to go mobile with nothing but what you need to become the Ansel Adams of snowriding photographers.

Bottom Line: Trevor Graves, Chris Owen, Kevin Zacher, Embry Rucker and you. But only if you get the Sequence Pack.

Talk shop with all the gear freaks out there: ask 'em questions, upload/browse photos, and give your 2¢.

Great backpack for carrying a camera, I feel totally safe with it in there. It’s lightweight and easy access makes for quick stop and go.

DaKine Sequence

Possibly the best camera pack I've ever had. And I had them all. Very comfortable, carries enough gear for most jobs. And is low profile on your back, so if you're wearing a helmet skiing or riding a bike, the pack doesn't get in the way.
There are small things I'd like to change from a design standpoint, but pretty much this is a sweet pack. Well made, functional and looks good.

Great pack if your using an SLR camera but...

Everything about this pack is great except that DaKine couldn't figure out a way for you to carry a water reservoir with the camera pack included. They figured that since your photo gear is worth a lot not getting wet that you shouldn't be carrying a water reservoir at the same time. I'm going to try and see I can use the external StoAway water reservoir from Camelbak and clip it on the back exterior. DaKine could have also used waterproof zippers and taped seams for better sealing. It does have a few water proofed zippered pockets inside. This is the only pack made (and believe me I looked everywhere)that can carry your photo gear, skis, and a snowboard. With these 3 short falls of the Sequence pack I'm sticking with the pack.
