Nice upgrade from Coverts

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I was rockin' the Coverts for the past couple years. Recently, they started to show their age... and holes were popping up.

Snagged these Senti's on sale. Seriously, who pays full price anymore? Can't recommend them enough! They are awesome. The outside padding is a nice touch. Haven't had the chance yet to see how well it pads yet (knock on wood) but it looks like it may help a bit.

I am an AM/Enduro rider, so these were exactly what I was looking for.

Great grip good protection

These gloves have great dexterity, breathe well, and the D30 armor does provide some protection when your line ends up a little too close to that spruce tree...It isn't the thickest armor, but its enough to absorb some of the shock.

These gloves are pretty cool. Size-wise, they seem to run a little big, especially in the ring and pinky fingers. I usually wear a medium (Fox mediums fit me perfectly), but the medium in this glove is pretty roomy on me. Other than size, they feel good, and the D3O protection is sweet. Its not really bulky at all, but I tested it by punching some walls, and it felt fantastic, where I'm pretty it would have hurt with just the standard direct-inject knuckle armor most gloves have.

Sick glove!

As usual, with all Dakine gloves, I'm super impressed. I actually started the season with a pair from another company, and was so unimpressed I bought these halfway through. I wear these for everything with complete confidence. They breathe great on long XC and AM days, and protect with great dexterity on big DH/FR days. Taken several spills from all angles and haven't even stressed the seams or material. They even wash great. If you're not really stoked on the full blown carbon knuckle gig, but want the same protection in your everyday glove, these are perfect for you. After a whole summer of riding, there are a few stressed seams and a ripped palm at the pad. I also have notices a slight pressure point on my pinky knuckles. I will definitely buy them again, and maybe size up just to see if that helps the pressure spots.
