If you spend most of your time in the park or boosting off backcountry kickers, you want a glove that can hang—the DAKINE Raven Glove gets it done. Durafuse leather and a Weathershield shell mean the Raven stands up to the elements, while a Clarino synthetic suede palm laughs at sharp edges when you’re tweaking out your grabs. DAKINE lined the Raven with tricot to wick moisture and pre-curved all the fingers for lots of dexterity.

Bottom Line: A durable leather glove that puts the hurt on the park.

i don't think the dakine raven glove is waterproof. more like water repellent. weathershield is probably similar to dwr and is a coating you can likely reapply later if needed. for skiing and snowboarding needs, it should work fine. these gloves aren't insulated and would work better in spring-like conditions.

I got this glove for spring or warmer day (above freezing) riding, and I'm happy with it. I tried taking it out on a couple snowy, wetter, and colder days, and always ended up with cold digits and a frozen glove which took forever to dry.It has stood up to my board edges well, and once springtime comes around I'm sure I'll be stoked on it.
