DAKINE Over Under Rolling Gear Bag - 3000cu in. - 2008 BCS

This bag is big. If you fill it up (without expanding it) its thicker than advertised. I was a little worried about it but everyone still let me take it on as a carry-on even though it was technically bigger than carry-on restrictions. I took it on 4 planes on a trip to hawaii for 6 days and it held everything I needed including a suit.

The extendable handle is well built and i like the separate compartments. I even had a flight attendant ask me where I got it from.

I just recently took this bag with me for an 8 day trip to Mexico (The only back I took). Granted it was a summer beach trip, but I still managed to put in 3 pairs of pants, 2 pairs of shoes many T-shirts and short sleeved shirts, 2 pairs of shorts, belts, socks, all toiletries and a mask and snorkel. It was perfect. I am a classic over packer and this bag (expanded) was able to accommodate everything I wanted to bring. The Dakine over under is not only very stylish, but extremely versatile. I highly recommend it.

I bought this for my wife in pink plaid. She absolutely loves it and it got a little pathetic about how many women commented on it at the airport. Got her the matching board bag and same comments. Highly recommended.

I've used my Dakine Over/Under bag for over a year and love it. Besides the awesome design that makes it easy for me to spot it on the luggage carousel, it's also extremely versatile. I'll leave it zipped down and smaller for long weekend trips or expand it for longer trips. I've used this suitcase for trips longer than two weeks. The extra pockets on the front allow easy access to an extra pair of shoes or flip flops. There are two zippered mesh pieces on the inside so you can use the two halves to keep dirty and clean stuff separate. It also feels very sturdy and rolls excellently.
