Wear DAKINE's Nova Wristguard, a beefed up version of the Nova Glove with an integrated wristguard, and save your wrists for more important things — like pouring frosty beverages after a hard day of riding. This burly glove features DAKINE's trademark DK Dry moisture management membrane insert that moves perspiration away from your hands while blocking out exterior moisture. Low-bulk Thermoloft insulation and a fixed liner offer up season after season of reliable warmth. The shell is reinforced with grippy PVC-coated Toughtek palms and highly abrasion resistant Clarino synthetic suede. Don't sacrifice your gloves to the edge gods this winter; grab your rail with confidence and control. The lightweight internal aluminum stay and adjustable hook-and-loop wrist support give all the protection of a separate wrist guard without the bulk. The full-length, over-the-cuff gauntlet seals out snow with a one-handed, super-cinch drawstring closure.

Bottom Line: Protection for Egg Plants, Hand Plants, Sad Plants; limited protection against face plants; you're on your own for carnivorous plants (Feed me Seymour).

Good buy

Haven't hit the mountain with them yet, but from first glance they seem like good gloves, warm and comfortable. A little bulky, but expected with wrist guard gloves. The supports seem like they could also be a little tighter to the wrist, but again, you get what you pay for when you buy wrist guards and gloves all in one. Limited protection is better than no protection. I bought these for convenience of not having to remove two items (wrist guard and glove) off of my hands while boarding.

WAY better than Burton

This has much better support than the Burtons. I have both and these are more comfortable. Perfectly warm and comfortable in both crazy blind snow, uber freeze and spring conditions. Excellent all weather support glove.

Yes the price is U.S. $
And the hard pvc plate is only that strip on the palm. The velcro strap loops around the back to secure everything.

I have used these gloves a couple times so far and I love them. The only negative thing I agree with is that they don't have a removable liner, other than that....they are stellar!

The gloves are for my daughter not sure whether to get a small

The gloves are for my daughter not sure whether to get a small or medium. ,she wears a size 8 in a goalkeeper glove, she doesn't have very big hands

I bought a small and they are still a little bit big mainly because womens' fingers typically don't have the same width as mens'. I have fairly small hands but not abnormal for the average woman. Other than that the wrist guard falls in the right place and I can definitely get the wrist strap tight enough.

Find another brand to buy.

Searched high and low to find these gloves and what a disappointment. The first thing to fall off was the lanyard. Next came the cinch gauntlet and finally the Velcro came off. All of this occurred within 3 uses and I am not hard on equipment.
