    Great bigger pack

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Just picked this up after using a super old camelbak for the last who knows how long. This is a bit bigger than I am used to but I am happy with the extra space. Not that you always need it but it is nice to have.

The hydration bladder system is a little different then anything I have used, and thats a good thing. It attaches to the top so it wont fall down and bunch up at the bottom of your bag. It also comes standard with a magnetic clip for the hose which is great.

I would absolutely suggest this to someone if you are ok with a little bigger bag. Not huge, but if you are looking for something super minimalist this isn't your pack.

    Great for Biking

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have used this backpack about half a dozen times so far this year and it is great. It is a perfect size for biking, not super bulky, and has enough room to hold everything that you will need while on the trail. I really like how the pack comes with the bladder so you do not have to buy it separately. The pack feels great when you wear it and the helmet carry feature is awesome.

    Go to pack

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is my go to pack for just about any ride I go on. It isn't too big where you feel like you have too much stuff or want to pack too much stuff. It has room for a 70L bladder which is more than enough in most cases for even the longest rides. It rides well on the back and has a decent amount of ventilation so your back doesn't get too sweaty. The separate pockets on the inside help keep your tools and spare tubes organized, the little padded pocket for a phone or camera is nice too. There is an upper pocket for a phone or glasses too, and the helmet carry on the outside is a great feature to have when you are on the shuttle rig or trying to stay organized. Even with a couple of spare tubes, there is room for whatever else you might need depending on where and what you are riding. I can get a rain shell if that is a possibility in there too, a lunch or food, and some sodas for during the ride. I highly recommend this pack, though there are plenty of good manufacturers out there.

    Legit

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Great hydration pack for long days on the mountain bike. Tons of storage space and the organized pockets make digging out a snack, pump or multi-tool a breeze. Some of Dakine's smaller packs have a suspended "air mesh" back panel that allows air to move freely between your back and the pack. This one doesn't have that feature but is fairly breathable nonetheless. The magnetic clip for the mouth piece is super handy as well.

    Get this pack!!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

If you go out for long mtn bike rides, get this pack! The storage space is unparalleled. Two main pockets. One that has organization for your gear (ie. pump, multi tool, tire arms, small first aid kit, etc.) and the other for your extra layers, food, etc. There are also two smaller "sneaky" pockets. One exposed on the outside of the pack for things like sunglasses soft fleece lining inside pocket) and another little pocket in the main compartment (not the gear pocket) that is large enough for personal items. There is also a third pocket that zips off the back for your 3L reservoir. Mouth piece for the reservoir is magnetized to the shoulder strap so it isn't swinging too and fro while riding. I haven't used this as a day pack yet, but I certainly will. The back breathes well and the helmet carry is a nice added bonus.

    She's not just all looks

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have not biked with this pack yet, but it has proven great for day hikes. I’ve taken this bag through snow on Tahquitz Peak and in 70 degree weather up San Jacinto Peak. The internal organizers are great for valuables, mesh pockets keep everything neat, side pockets offer easy access to energy bars and the 3 litter hydration pack is separated from everything so there is no concern of puncturing. The quality is great, study, stylish and the back breaths well.

Sunglass holder could you put googles in there? Thinking of this pack or the heli pro for cycling and skiing.

Does this pack have a water bottle holder? I'm looking to get a replacement for my Heli Pro which doesn't have a holder. I love the pack and that's my only complaint, so I'm trying to find a new pack that does have one
