The DAKINE Mission SL Pack securely carries your snowboard for a short backcountry excursion, and its compact size lets you throw backside fives off the cornice. A front pocket holds your avalanche shovel and probe to keep them accessible. Load the DAKINE Mission SL Pack with your hydration system, and slot the hose through the insulated shoulder strap to keep your water from freezing during your ride.
Bottom Line: Short backcountry rides and trips just outside the resort ropes call for the DAKINE Mission SL Pack.

This bag is light, has plenty of space for lunch, drinks, camera, and then some. Its so comfortable you forget you even have pack on while climbing to those off piste peaks in search of untouched powder.
After heavy use this bag looks like new still, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a day pack for the mountain.

The pack has plenty of room with a large number of zippered pockets. I was looking for a pack to keep my helmet, an extra fleece, snacks and water in while on the mountain. This pack is perfect for any or all of those items. Great purchase.

been riding with the basic camelbak cloudwalker for last 2 seasons. wanted something a little smaller and with a lower "profile" (camelbak 1340 cu in. compared to the mission's 1000) exactly what wanted, the reduction in size, storage and the bright red color looks good. took a trip to jackson hole in jan. my bro wore my camelbak and i wore my dakine. his tube froze up mine didn't :)

Pack had everything I wanted, but was a little big. I RETURNED IT. It had too much room for me. The colors looked great too, I bought it in red and black. If I ever carry more stuff I will buy the pack again.
