I Am The Fanny Pack Dork.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

And I don't mind admitting it. When the thought first crossed my mind that I needed something to stash my phone and keys and necessities in during my runs, I realized a fanny pack would be inevitable and I was in for a wave of 'I told you so's' from my dad, who is the original Fanny Pack Dork.

That being said, if you have to carry one, it should at least look as cool as it can, which this one does! It's super functional, holds just enough, and isn't so bulky that I feel like I'm wearing a bustle. Good job Dakine!

    Awesome!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I've been searching for a "cool" fanny pack all year. This is a true winner!!! Not only is it super stylish (I got the Kamali), but it's also really functional. The outer pocket is lined in a felt material, so it's perfect for phones. The large inner pocket has a clip for keys, an inside small zipper perfect for cash/CC, etc., and there is still adequate room left for a small snack and a mini water bottle. I'm so happy I got this product, it also seems very well made.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

LOVE this fanny! I despise carrying a purse, and this has been a great alternative. It's just big enough to fit the essentials: phone, wallet, keys, a snack. I got it to wear for longboarding, but it works great for all occasions. My only complaint is that the waist belt tends to loosen quite easily while longboarding. It's an easy fix, but can be irritating at times. All in all, a great product and I'd highly recommend it!

    "Hip" Dakine Hip Pack

I needed an updated hip pack (formerly called "fanny pack") to put all of my dog walking paraphernalia in. We walk several miles most days, so I need doggie bags, cell phone, keys, i-Pod and, sometimes, a little camera. This pack is PERFECT. The size is just right; not too big not too small. It's also very comfortable and adjusts easily.

I have a Dakine Hydration plastic bag in...

I have a Dakine Hydration plastic bag in a black cover which is about 10 years old. It rides on top of my regular pack. I have lost 2 essential parts and wish to replace them 1) the insulated hose covering and 2) more importantley the green and yellow bite nipple which often fell off. I know this is earlier model and does not have shut off valve. It was great because it was gravity flow and did not require sucking to get water any time. Do you have any spares. Thanks I like hip pack may get one for my wife.
