For relaxed style even when the ride is hard
Remember when a wearing a henley-buttoned top meant donning long underwear? Well, Dakine brought the comfort and functionality of those buttons to mountain bike jersey design with the aptly named Henley Jersey.
Sewn from a 130gsm quick-drying waffle-knit fabric, the Henley quickly wicks moisture away from your skin, no matter how hard you are riding. Keeping your skin dry is the first line of defense against chafing and it also helps to regulate your body temperature. Additionally, the fabric contains antimicrobial treatment to keep bacteria at bay so that the jersey will remain fresh ride after ride.
The Henley is constructed with raglan sleeves for flexibility in the shoulders. The buttoned placket is fully functional to adjust for additional ventilation if necessary. An invisible side, zippered pocket holds your mp3 player and the jersey even includes a sunglasses wipe on the interior of the hem.
The Dakine Henley Jersey - Short Sleeve - Women's is available in sizes Small to X-Large an in the colors Harbor and Black.

- Q & A
Cool fabric, but runs huge
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: Runs large
- Size Bought: Medium
Pros: The fabric on the Henley short sleeve jersey is super breathable, so much so that you can even rock the black color on a warmer day. It's extra long in the back so you don't have lower back gap when riding, and it's got a nice little secret pocket for your keys or ID when on a ride.
Cons: The fit is huge. Runs large is an understatement. I normally wear a medium to large, and went for a medium, knowing that Dakine runs a bit big on their tops typically. I should have gone for the small. I have several other Dakine jerseys and a medium always has done the job just right in the past, but this one is enormous. It fits like I'm riding in one of my husband's old jerseys. Definitely size down, possibly twice.
Over all, I do still like riding in this jersey, its breathable and I don't mind a baggy jersey, but I wish I would have sized down more than I did.
