This classic pack has been re-designed this year to fit women better, so you can carry your gear comfortably. It has a vertical and horizontal snowboard carry along with a diagonal ski carry to make this bag perfect for east coast touring and Alaska heli drops. The Heli-Pro has a separate pocket for avie gear to keep your shovel and probe accessible. You can even run the tube to your hydration system down the inside of the insulated, zippered sleeve to keep it out of the way and keep you water from freezing. DAKINE has thought of everything.

This pack is great. I use it for traveling and skiing. I can fit my laptop, books, mags, etc. The multiple sections make it easy to keep things organized. I haven't done much hiking with it this season because of the amount of powder we have been getting. Seems like this bag fits almost like the mens version but a little smaller for a womens frame. I'm only 5'4" and it's great.

This is a tiny pack and is made for someone 5'2'' and under. I kept trying to pull the pack down to my lower back where the padding is located, but realized that wasn't going to happen. The DAKINE packs come with a size tag on them and this pack is checked as a "girls’" size. There are also small and large lengths available. If you measure your spine as shown by DAKINE, most women will fit in a small pack. I'm 5'4'' and this was just a bit too short for me based on the listed measurements. I really wanted it because of the pink, of course going fashion before function but had to go with function this time and re-order the small. Totally awesome pack for the shorties though!
