It does have a small pocket in the waist belt. If you have a fairly compact camera it should fit. Not sure on exact pocket dimensions.

Good resort pack

I have last year's version of this pack and like it. Good for resort/slack country skiing. Can fit lunch and a layer or two in the pack. Straps allow you to hold your skis or snowboard for the hike to fresh powder. Comfortable fit without being bulky. Well made. Would recommend to others looking for a good resort-bound day pack.

The hip belt/waist strap on most packs, including this one, are not removable. A lot of people will shorten the strap down the clip it together at the base of the pack so it sits between the pack and their back when in use. You loose the benefit of the strap this way, but it works for class etc.

I want to use this backpack for my laptop but I don't know if it will fit. My laptop is a 17.3" (16.5" x 12.5"). Please help!!! Really want this but don't want to buy it if it will not hold my laptop. Thanks.
