DAKINE Heli Pro 16 Backpack - 1000cu in - 2007 BCS

This pack is perfect for a whole day out on the mtn. I carry my skis, use the hydration insert, and still have enough room for my shovel, probe an extra layer and snacks. This pack continues to go on all the different adventures I do!

What more can I say. I don't know how DaKine managed to fit so many features in such a small pack; in fact, my husband just HAD to buy one after checking mine out. This pack put my old Lowe to shame.

He works for a state parks crew and is out in the weather every day and has to carry everything he will need for the day with him. This pack has made his life so much easier. It has the space, it keeps things dry, and he can find what he needs quickly. He is also looking ahead to snowboard season. I will be buying another one for his brother for Christmas.

I love this pack -it has a ton of awesome designed storage and carrying systems. From the ski carrying, the zip-out Nalgene holder, to the integrated CamelBak carrier and goggle compartment, and the camera holder in the waistbelt, it all does it's job well! My only problem is that it's just a little too small for a 6'3" 200lbs guy. I'm giving my 16L to my girlfriend and getting the 20L version. So if your someone that's not 5'7" or smaller (like it recommends on the tag) or if you pack really light (i.e one change of clothes size L-XL and a few accessories)...look to go with the 20L bigger brother.

Really great. I use this bag for school every day and it couldn't be better. It fits just enough stuff. I got this bag because it was small and easy to lug around. The bag is comfortable, convenient, and has tons of cool stuff. I cant wait for snow to find out how good the pack is on the slopes. The front waist pocket perfectly fits a big iPod. Backcountry is great, i got the bag 3 days after i put the order in. And that was with the basic free shipping! Really pleased in every way.

Just got back from a twelve mile cycle ride with this pack. blew a tire, rolled off a rock, scratched my knee and everything I needed to keep going was right there in this COOL pack!!
Snowboarding,cycling,hiking,school...you name it and this pack can handle it!

My son and I bought one each last year. It performed great as a resort pack. Also great for a carry-on.

I love this bag, lots of features and you can select what capacity bag you like depending on your physical body size. I choose the SMALL (I'm 5'6'', 140 lbs). This bag has tons of niffty pockets, zippers seems to be pretty reliable and the chest and waist fastners are very comfortable and secure. I used this as a day pack although it's meant to be used for snowboarding and it still performed. I love the HELI PRO!
