The DAKINE Grom Backpack holds all your kid's goodies for a day in class, and it includes a two-strap skateboard carry system for a little after-school riding. Tough 600D polyester material holds up to tons of abuse, so the Grom Backpack lasts through year after year of being tossed in lockers and dropped on the pavement. DAKINE gave this burly little bag two front pockets to keep pens and other small goodies organized, and a bungee system to provide a quick place to stash a jacket.

Needed a small backpack to just carry a few items around once in a while. By chance found this 800cu one so decided to buy it. Ended up a great buy. Solid construction, tough material and functional design with plenty of organiser pockets, side pockets (for the size of the bag)to help you find your stuff with ease. The back is padded to add extra comfort while wearing it.

ordered this- got it in great time- but once I checked it out in person- just was not what I was looking for. I love lots of organizing pockets- which this did not have- so I returned it, with out a problem.
Will the side mesh pockets hold watter bottles?

The side mesh water bottle pockets will hold two 1 liter water bottles, one on each side.

Nope, it doesn't. Its only suspension are the two shoulder straps.
