I just received these and am not sure that I'll keep them. I have 2 questions:
1) This site says "lifetime" under "Manufacturer Warranty", but the cardboard connecting the 2 mittens together says "Two Year Warranty". What does any warranty mean anyway?

2) There are various sections of material (liner, insert, insulation, shell, etc...), and all seem to be made of reasonable stuff both on this site and on the cardboard packing which holds the mittens. But the actual label inside the mittens states "Palm: 65% PVC, 35% Cotton". I typically pack and use several fleece liner gloves and one mitten shell so that I can switch to fresh liners when my hands inevitably get wet or on successive portions of a trip (skiing up, making tea, digging, chilling, skiing the next day). If there's cotton in my shell, then staying dry will be all that much harder. Thoughts?

Thanks!
