So I bought a 157cm bag for my 156.5 forum board, at first I was worried that the bag would be too small for my board. But to my surprise it fit just fine. The bag doesn't have very much padding for traveling but I did buy it to travel with since I do chase snow, one of the cool things about the bag is that it has extra room. There is plenty of room for your jackets, pants and boots. I solved the padding problem by wrapping my snowboard in my jackets. It helped free up space in my luggage to carry other things I didn't want to leave behind... the bag serves a great purpose and to me that was to help the snow bum travel at a reasonable price...

This thing gets the job done! It's built well, will take a beating, and has plenty of extra room for boots(mens size 11), goggles, and clothing.

Adequate for the task. A little light on padding for airline work and a little small in size for helmet AND boots. Otherwise the construction is good and the material resists stains pretty well.

I'm quite a fan of Dakine's bags and accessories, but every once in a while they drop the ball. This is my 2nd snowboard bag from them and it sized terrible. it says 165cm but BARELY fit my 161 Lib inside lengthwise. Having size large bindings was even tighter to fit inside but doable. so if your board is larger than 161 go bigger. Being that everything still fits snug inside I will admit I'm not disappointed. just be wary and size up.

Most importantly to me (beside the padding quesiton) is, can i put my snowboard in this bag with my bindings on? Also does it have enough space so i can also put my boots and extra clothing in there.

I have a cheap non padded bag, but man, it holds everything in there. So i would like to know if this bag does the same.
Thanks!!

It holds my daughters 157cm board with bindings and her womens size 10 Roxie boots.

I would go up to the Tour bag. My bindings barely fit with the highbacks folded down, its doable but tight. Boots I don't think so but cloths yes

For air travel, if you mean protective enough, yes, a friend of mine has one and didn't have any issue with his board
