Take a bake-cation with the EQ.

Pack the DAKINE EQ Bag with enough clothes for an overnight on the beach and hop the next red-eye to a palm-fringed paradise. Burly, abrasion-resistant nylon protects your essentials from rough baggage handlers and still looks great when you land. DAKINE padded the shoulder straps for comfort and gave this bag a U-shaped top access so you can easily find your sunglasses or Rasta-stripe hammock once you’re kicking it on the sand.

The perfect small duffel.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Was looking for a small bag for one to two night trips. This bag is great. Good materials and craftsmanship and not overly complicated with too many pockets. Size small is perfect.

Happy with it.

Am quite happy with the quality and size of small Dakine duffel I purchased a year ago. Zipper is very sturdy, small pocket is handy for little stuff I don't want lost in the bigger compartment. Shoulder strap is ergonomically designed to keep the bag closer to the body, and not cut into my neck. Small is roomy enough to hold my bike gear, helmet, shoes, etc.

It's a bag

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

So far so good. It holds my mtb gear (shoes, helmet, chest pro, knee pads, shorts, jersey, gloves) fine. Seems like it will be reasonably durable. The medium version of this bag is probably more versatile, but this one works well enough.

Great versatile bag

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Very satisfied with this purchase. Color, material, size and durability are all excellent. I use it for the gym, carry-on bag, ski gear and as a weekend bag. Worth the price. Really love the Pacific Blue. Would love matching pieces....

Perfect size for personal climbing gear.

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I use this bag to carry my gear for the challange course. The main pocket easily fits my helmet and two harnesses, with plenty of room for my gear (biners, belay devices, accessory cord, etc). In the side pocket I keep the manufacturer spec sheets/pamphlets for my equipment, bandannas, and my belay gloves.

Perfect-sized gym bag

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This bag is just the ticket -- hauls stuff to and from the gym and pool, but isn't too much bag for the job (unlike the one I was using, which was just so tricked out it was annoying). Holds toiletries, shoes, and a change of clothes without problem.

Good Trunk Bag

Bought it to pack my gym clothes and it's perfect size. Clothes in main compartment, toiletries in the side pocket and good to go. I got the stencil and I love it. shoulder strap is fine it is curved like noted below. Good for any misc needs for 1-day purposes. I got stencil and love the look.

Nice Bag!

I bought this little Dakine EQ to have a smaller bag to take to the gym before/during/after work. I typically keep a big bag of clothes in my car at all times, but got tired of lugging it around - so the Dakine EQ was a good size.

Its a new bag, but seems very durable. The shoulder strap is very comfortable and doesn't slide off your shoulder. It has a side pocket which is nice. I would have liked an additional pocket or two on the bag, but overall I'm happy with it.

It now doubles as a camera/gear bag as I throw my digital SLR and GoPro camera's in it before heading to the skatepark.

Perfect for my needs

Nice and sturdy. It's a great size for a car emergency/trauma kit. And the red/black/white plaid is bold and visable. Very pleased.

I use it every day commuting to work, gym, or a weekend snow/surf trip away. Simple and durable...Buy one in every size!

My Everything Bag

I have too many duffel bags, I know it, I admit it. Most end up taking up space in a closet, but this one I use constantly. During winter, I use it to haul stuff up and down the mountain every, clean/dirty base layers, chargers, etc. Off-season I travel a lot, and now that luggage costs, it's my carry-on that fits everything I [really] need. It has also been used as a gym bag, overnight bag, long weekend trip bag, throw in the back because it'll keep stuff dry bag, to name a few. Incredibly durable for the amount of stress it has gone through. Carries heavy loads, I've put 35+lb in it. I never worry about it breaking or tearing or leaking or being anything other than reliable.

Almost perfect little gym bag.

Totally awesome except for the shoulder straps: fixed pad; curvature — make it very non-universal.
