This bag is awesome.

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I got this bag after the zipper on my previous one broke. The flower design is amazing and it's very spacious. I wish it had more small compartments inside the main one, but the amount of space is great for the price. The side compartment also allows plenty of space for shoes or dirty laundry. Overall it's a great bag for the price. Very well constructed.

Great for the price

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This bag seems to be really durable. The padded shoulder strap makes for comfortable transport.

Simple

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

A outside pocket is about all the extras you get with this bag, not to say thats a bad thing. I like to throw my tings in a bag and sort em out latter so it works fine for me. Only knock down a star for the fact that it seems to be pretty thin on the bottom and I dont know how many trips through airports it can make before holes will start to arise.

Great and durable

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Not much to say about this bag tech-wise, but it has been a solid bag for me. I have dragged it across the world with me from New Zealand to Alaska and its durability has been my favorite feature.
You can fit a surprising amount of gear in this bag, and the zippered pocket on the end makes for a great dirty laundry holder. Great bag for a great price.

Do it all bag

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Gym bag, bike bag, ski bag, assorted random crap bag. This thing is durable, the zippers are bombproof, and the camo pattern looks pretty schweet if I do say so. May have to acquire a couple more here pretty soon I've like this bag so much.

Carries whatever

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I use this for as a gym bag, bike bag, light travel bag. It for sure has zero technical features but for the price you do get a solid bang for your buck.

is this bag waterproof?

I'd call it water resistant. It'll hold up against some rain/light weather between the car and wherever you're going but it won't hold up against any substantial deluge.

Perfect sized bag

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

this bag has a durable fabric with a rubberized interior. one side bag keeps all your accessories. Curved shoulder strap is much more comfortable. Perfectly sized for all-purpose use. For snowboarding, you can easily fit snowboard boots, socks, helmet, goggles, gloves, pants, jacket all in this one bag.

Wow

Well when i got this i thought it would be bigger but saw that it was just the right size for a four day trip, keep in mind bigger guy and bigger clothes 2X sizes. Great material for the beach and decent in water, high tide. Pocket openings are perfect for boots and Jeans. 5 Stars

I am looking for a bag to throw all my cycling gear in. Just a pair of shoes, helmet, water bottles, cycling clothes, deodorant, and a snack or two. Would this be big enough or would I need to look for something a bit bigger?

David, this would work fine.

Great all around bag

This is a great all around bag for uses such as a weekend trip or just going to the gym. It's the right size and the right price. Dakine products are always the best.

Definitely Recommend

This bag is terrific. It is the perfect size for an overnight stay or gym bag. The construction is lightweight, but seems very durable. I am extremely happy with my purchase. I purchased 4 total bags all different sizes like this and I love them all!

Great Bag

Great size and really easy to travel with. Also by accident one guy drop a really big glass of water on it but my stuff didn't get wet :-) .

Perfect.

I think I have this bag in all sizes. It's durable, great size, can be used for just about anything. I use it for travel, gym, road trips, work at the mountain...I pretty much live out of this bag. Fits a surprising amount of stuff, everything is easy to get to because of the U opening. Buy it. You won't regret it.

weekend warrior bag

I picked up a couple larger versions of these for snowboarding season last year and I loved them so much I bought these for weekend trips. This bag is great for road trips and does a good job protecting your clothes.

22"x11"x11" Does this meet Airline regulatory requirements for carry one bags?

Responded on

It varies from airline to airline, but generally the safe maximum size is 45" (length + width + height), and 22"+11"+11"=44" so it should meet the requirements for almost all airlines.

I travel with this bag quite extensively and have absolutely used this as a carry on and it's almost always fit in the overhead. It really depends on how full you pack it. Worst case is that you'd have to check it at the gate, but I've never had them tell me to have it checked at security.
